Leftovers

Leftovers is an eclectic mix of discarded dances carefully gathered from the studio floor – each one with its own potential.

The work is a collaboration between Caroline Bowditch and Marc Brew. Leftovers was commissioned by DadaFest and premiered in 2010 as part of Scottish Dance Theatre’s Under Construction season at the Bonar Hall in Dundee.

The duet has been designed to be performed in theatre spaces with blackout, dance floor, raked seating and a full lighting rig.

"Slow burning, thought-provoking and above all performed with an energy that carried the audience with it all the way!"

"In the most tender scene, Brew is 'animated' by Bowditch, who fits her hands around his neck, as though they are one body. Naughty, intimate and very lovely, the pair are also gifted with impeccable comic timing."
