After the critically acclaimed an Accident / a Life, Marc Brew and world renowned choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui are back together to bring a stunning new collaboration to the stage – Residence.
The new duet performed by Marc Brew and Nelson Parrish Earl explores themes of resilience, adaptation and reciprocity.
Residence receives its World Premiere as part of this year’s Introdans LARBI programme. Dedicated to the Flemish Moroccan choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, it maps a journey across two decades: from his first choreography for a classical ballet company to this intimate new duet.
Premiering on 20th March 2026 at Stadsschouwburg Utrecht, the programme will then tour theatres throughout the Netherlands until 4 June 2026.

Join Marc Brew Company for a dynamic open company class led by Rehearsal Director Hayley Earlam, offered as part of the company’s new children’s production Boys Don’t Dance Development period.
Rooted in Marc Brew Company’s inclusive ethos, this class invites professional disabled and non-disabled dancers to explore movement with curiosity, agency and joy. Hayley will guide participants through an engaging blend of improvisation and inclusive contemporary technique, drawing on vivid imagery, embodied exploration and a playful hint of 80s flavour.
Following the open company class, there will be an opportunity for 2–3 artists to stay on and observe rehearsals for our new production from 11:00–13:30.

Lung Ha Theatre recently launched the first edition of their Access and Creative Principles Toolkit. They are now recruiting an experienced Co-ordinator to oversee the Toolkit roll-out and to embed this strand of work into how they share our expertise with the sector and wider communities.
This month the Boys Don’t Dance creative and production team are back together to continue developing the piece at the Spinning Shed, Paisley Town Hall and Paisley Arts Centre.
We’re excited to be back together to develop the piece further, after such a successful Research and Development period last November at The Work Room. Watch our talented creative team discussing how the piece is developing so far.
Boys Don’t Dance previews this May at Paisley Arts Centre, Eden Court, Inverness and Sweden, before its premiere at Edinburgh International Children’s Festival in June. It then travels to Light the Blue Festival in Aberdeen.
