Following D.A.R.E. (Disabled Artist Residency Exchange) and a run at the Edinburgh Fringe of Boys Don’t Dance, Marc Brew Company invites professional disabled and non-disabled dance artists to join us for an open workshop exploring our inclusive choreographic practice and approach to creating dance together.
Delivered by Marc Brew Company, participants will experience how we develop movement in an accessible, collaborative and creative environment. Through improvisation, creative tasks and learning repertoire, you will explore the company’s core value of discovering possibility through difference.
This workshop is an opportunity to connect with other artists, exchange movement ideas and discover new ways of making work. We strive to create a supportive space where everyone’s unique perspectives and movement languages are valued. We ask that you bring curiosity, openness and a willingness to explore the creative potential of dance and disability.
This workshop is open to professional disabled and non-disabled dance artists who are interested in inclusive dance practice and learning more about Marc Brew Company’s choreographic approach.
