Residence – A new collaboration between Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Marc Brew, a continuation of their Artistic dialogue following the international success of the solo an Accident / a Life.
Residence is a poignant duet about proximity, loss, and building a new home. What does it mean to be there for someone who has lost everything? How do you share space when self-evident things disappear? How do you build a safe place together – a home?
In a subtle game of give and take, performers Marc Brew and Nelson Parrish Earl explore reciprocity, trust and adaptability. Their bodies search for balance, for support, for new perspectives in seemingly hopeless situations.
Residence is an intimate encounter: a choreographic conversation about caring for each other and about the courage, in the midst of change, to create a place together where you can stay.
