Susan is an internationally renowned creative producer, an award-winning dance film director, and exhibited photographer.
She produces and supports phenomenal arts in all media on an international platform through her company Ripple Arts. She has spearheaded national and international large-scale projects when working with British Council and Creative Scotland, and independently for the artists that she represents..
Susan started her career as a dancer, choreographer and producer, and recently directed her first Dance Award Winning dance film, Renewable
She was shortlisted for Cosmopolitan’s Woman of the Year Award for her services to promote dance in Scotland, and continues to thrive working across cultures, advocating for equality and supporting artists.
As Producer, CEO and Photographer for Marc Brew Company, she supports the company’s development through planning, operations and fundraising, and has produced acclaimed international dance tours and projects.
Her personal Company highlight is: taking Marc’s last solo For Now I am… to Palestine. The audience response was amazing with one audience member standing up and saying “I don’t speak English very well, but you have given me the courage to stand up and speak. Your piece is inspirational.” He said he saw a parallel struggle in Palestine, which demonstrates the power of the Arts to connect and be interpreted by everyone personally.
