BREWBAND

We are very excited have started our new work for the company #BREWBAND  – Scotland’s new super band that blurs boundaries and challenges people’s perceptions of identity.

Created by award winning choreographer Marc Brew this inclusive music and dance performance brings together top Scottish rock artists Graeme Smillie, Jill O’Sullivan and Peter Kelly with talented dancer/musicians Martyn Garside, Marta Masiero and Alice Sheppard, the evening will meld rock music with Marc Brew’s distinctive choreography, to create an exciting evening as much a music gig as it is a dance performance.

BREWBAND will premiere at Sadlers Wells, London on 25th April 2017 – check out our Tour & Events page for our Spring Tour dates and links to venues for tickets

Supported by Creative Scotland amongst others, we will be touring next year across Scotland and to Sadler’s Wells, London. We also have a range of merchandise that you can buy.

Access for MayBe

_mg_1960

During the creation of MayBe, the unique creative process conceived by Natalia Mallo integrated accessibility resources directly into the work including: captioning and sign language are integrated into the projections and audio description integrated into the score.

Access Tour, please meet in the Tramway Foyer at 6pm.
We will enter the theatre at 6.10pm and the session will run from 6.15-6.30pm

We welcome the audience and in particular people with visual impairment or who are blind to come along to the pre show access tour. Similar to a Touch Tour, the Access Tour is a chance for those with visual impairment to come onto stage to meet dancers Marc and Gisele and to feel and get to know some of the movement, instruments, costumes and the set up of the stage before the performance.

The Access Tour also acts as an introduction to the piece for anyone interested in learning more about the work and how it was created. Marc, Gisele and Natalia will offer an introduction to the synopsis and structure of the piece, looking at movement, space and music and will answer any questions you may have.

To book for the Access Tour please contact Tramway on 0845 330 3501 or email ArtMusicLearning@glasgowlife.org.uk
